Confirmation Program

Confirmation at CtK is a 3 year program for 7th – 9th graders.

Our program is designed to prepare our young people to confirm their faith and become “adult” members of our congregation.  We strive to help them integrate their faith into their very complex daily lives.

Confirmation is offered in on Wednesday evenings.  We begin with a meal and fellowship at 6 p.m.,  then class time runs from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.    

The new FaithInk curriculum will focus on “Livng Lutheran” : looking at Luther’s Small Catechism, including the Ten Commandments; Baptism; The Lord’s Prayer; Communion, The Apostle’s Creed and more.  Learning is achieved through bible studies, multi-media presentations, round table discussions, small group activities and statements of faith.  Included is a “Faith 5″ component which provides “Sharing, Reading, Talking, Praying & Blessing” opportunties for weekly “at home” communications as well.

 Kids are urged to experience Confirmation Camp at Crossways/Pine Lake early in their journey.
