What's New at ctk?

Change is good and there seems to be a lot of that happening at CtK. It's exciting and yet change can be hard. So, we pray for peace and patience as we move forward.

The search for a new pastor and bookkeeper. New partners joining the church. Visitors who want to know about CtK. Reaching out to the community. Spreading the Gospel. The list goes on but you get the idea. All part of growing as a body of Christ.

How do we stay connected? How are we becoming more visible in our community? One new thing is the sign that we will be dedicating this Sunday. What a wonderful way to let drivers passing by get to know about CtK and invite them in.

Next Sunday, we begin another new feature. New worship software that was recently purchased to update the slides. Though you may or may not notice a difference, the ability to create the slides and share them among staff for building and proofing makes for a more efficient way to provide announcements and worship in-person and online.

Coming in the near future is a new website. A new look that represents the church with much of the same information along with additional ways to share who CtK is and what it has to offer.

Our presence on social media has been a part of sharing us with the community. Daily posts on Facebook and Instagram are a great way to keep the public as well as church members informed about events at CtK.

This is where you come in. Whether you are part of a study group, committee or volunteer in various areas of the church, we want to know what you are doing. Share stories and photos for the website and social media for visitors to see what is happening here. We need current photos of worship, fellowship after the service, Sunday School, Christian Ed and Confirmation, youth group, study groups, meetings, special celebrations, events, and anything else you want to share.

Please send stories and photos to Pamela at phart@christ-the-king.org. Help us spread the word about this wonderful body of Christ!
