Attention: Women of Christ the King (and friends)!
Do you find yourself feeling disconnected from people in your life? Maybe you feel stressed by all the changes in our world, or maybe you want to take some time to relax, meet other women, and just hang out? Come and see what has been put together by some caring women from our synod to help us learn, share our faith, connect with others and just have some fun.
You are invited to attend the WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) Fall Retreat. It will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2026 in Wautoma, WI from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Mt. Morris Conference Center.
The theme of this day is: “Walking by Faith, Constantly Tripping”, presented by Franki Moscato, singer and speaker. Franki believes her music forms her ministry. Her passion for praising the Lord through her voice has shaped her entire career. A passionate advocate for those struggling with mental health, Moscato has used her platform to raise awareness for adolescent suicide prevention.
Crafts, fellowship, and an opportunity to try Tai Chi or a Labyrinth practice will also be offered, as well as a silent auction and a worship service. The service will be led by Pastor Jenn Pockat and she will be accompanied by Dr. Kartika Putri, musician.
The cost for this one day retreat is $30 which includes breakfast, lunch and programming. Register by Monday, September 7th by either mailing in a registration form along with a check for $30 (you can get a form from Tina in the office), or by clicking this link https://tithe.ly/event-registration/#/11214605 to sign up electronically.
So, what are you waiting for? Come on along to the fall retreat.
