We are both joyful and bittersweet learning the news that Pastor Nate has accepted a new call with the Synod Office. While we will deeply miss his faithful leadership, compassionate presence, and dedication to our congregation, we celebrate this new chapter in his ministry and the ways he will continue to serve God’s church in a broader capacity.
Pastor Nate has walked with us through seasons of growth, challenge, and grace. His new role is a sign of the Spirit’s continued work—not only in his life but also in the life of our church. We send him with our love, support, and prayers. As we give thanks
for his ministry, we also look ahead with hope and confidence. Your Church Council is working closely with the East Central Synod of Wisconsin to begin the Call Process—a faithful journey of discernment that will guide us toward calling our next pastor.
1 Corinthians 3:6-7 “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is everything, but only God who gives the growth.” We trust that God is already preparing the heart of the one who will lead us next, and we invite your prayers throughout this process. Below is a visual of the ELCA Pastoral Call Process so you can walk this journey with us:

Let us move forward together, trusting in God’s plan and provision. As we give thanks for Pastor Nate’s time with us, we also await, with open hearts, the future God is unfolding in our midst.
With peace and anticipation,
Trent Wright,
Church Council President
