Discipleship

This coming Sunday we will hear a Gospel lesson about Jesus choosing some folks to be his disciples. The homily will speak to the issue of Christ choosing us as disciples as well. Years ago a musical debuted on Broadway titled Godspell. You might remember one of the songs in the play- Day by Day. The words speak of seeing Christ more clearly, loving Christ more dearly and following Christ more nearly.

As we begin 2026 as disciples at Christ the King it will be grand to reaffirm our commitment to imitate Christ to the best of our ability.
