Feeling blessed to be here!

Being new to Christ the King, I felt welcomed from the first day. Everyone I meet has a smile and kind words to share. Transitions can be challenging and while CtK awaits a new pastor, the strength that members of this church exemplify assures me I'm in the right place.

The role as Communications Coordinator is something I am passionate about and where I can use the gifts God has given me. My background is in theatre management as the administrator for Jubricosa, a non-profit youth and community theatre program. Throughout the years, I have managed the website, marketing, financials and administrative duties. I never thought that the "fun" part of that position would lead me to working in communications at a church. Yet here I am!
What I love most is sharing Jesus through visuals and writing. In 2018, I started on a venture to create a ministry where I could write and create resources for churches. Inspired Journey became a place for me to do so. I wrote a fall women's retreat and a movie guide, which I was blessed to use at the church my husband and I were attending at the time. Then Covid hit, my husband became ill and passed two years later. It has taken me awhile to find that voice again but I am currently working on a 9-month retreat program, Renewed Spirit, and hope to continue developing retreats, studies, etc.
The greatest blessing from above is my family. I have four children and 11 grandchildren who keep Nana on her toes with nine of them being 8 months to 7 years old. The oldest two are my step-granddaughters, one in college and the other one in high school. Quite the age range! But I'm so grateful for all of them. Being a grandparent is amazing!
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family. I hope to meet more of you in the days and weeks to come. Please stop by my office if you are at church during the week. I'd like to get to know you better and help with connecting and growing at CtK.
