As the leaves turn and we gather around warm cups of cider, our hearts are full of gratitude
for the faithful generosity of our congregation. This year’s Fall Stewardship Appeal at Christ
the King Lutheran Church has been a beautiful reminder of how God continues to work
through each of us to build a stronger, more vibrant ministry together.
A Snapshot of Our Progress
We sent out 410 commitment cards, inviting every household to prayerfully consider their giving for the coming year.
So far, we’ve received 90 cards back, which is a 22.68% return rate—a wonderful start and a testament to your dedication and faith! Each returned card represents more than a number; it’s a story of trust, gratitude, and partnership in God’s mission.
Why Your Commitment Matters
Your commitments help us plan our 2026 Ministry Spending Plan—a roadmap for the ways we’ll serve, worship, and grow together in the coming year. From youth programs and worship life to outreach ministries and caring for our facilities, every pledge helps us dream faithfully and plan responsibly.
When we know what resources are available, we can be good stewards of God’s blessings—supporting our ministries with confidence and vision.
Still Time to Respond
If you haven’t returned your commitment card yet, there’s still time! Every response—no matter the size—helps our church plan effectively for the year ahead. If you misplaced your card or need another, please contact the church office. You can also reach out to Aubrey for assistance.
A Thank You from the Heart
To all who have already responded—thank you! Your faithful giving fuels everything from Sunday worship and faith formation to community outreach and pastoral care. Together, we’re ensuring that Christ the King continues to be a light of faith and hope in our community. Let’s keep the momentum going as we look ahead to another year of ministry, mission, and growth in faith.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7
