🌈 Happy Pride Month!

As we step into Pride Month, we celebrate the beauty, dignity, and belovedness of our LGBTQIA+ siblings. This is a time of joy, visibility, and affirmation—but also a season when many still face rejection, fear, and injustice. That’s why it’s so important for us, as a church, to be a beacon of light, hope, and support. Our call to be reconciling isn’t just about welcome—it’s about showing up, speaking out, and making space for all God’s people to thrive. Let’s continue to reflect Christ’s love boldly and visibly this month, and every month, as we walk alongside our LGBTQIA+ neighbors with compassion and courage.  

🏳️‍🌈 Help CtK Bring God's Love to Life at Fox Cities Pride!

When: Saturday, June 21, from 1–8pmWhere: Jones Park, Appleton, Wisconsin

What: Christ the King will host a booth titled “Share Your Hopes, Share Your Hurts”, featuring our vibrant pride-colored canvases (on display in the fellowship area). Festival-goers will be invited to write or draw their hopes and hurts on paper hearts as an expression we will honor and lift in prayer.

How Can YOU Help?

🙋 Volunteer We need volunteers to help staff our booth! You will have a member of the CtK RIC committee with you so you won't be alone! 

• 9:30am - 10:30am: Set up (if you feel more comfortable with manual labor!)

• 1pm - 2pm: 2 people needed

• 2pm - 3pm: 1 person needed

• 3pm - 4pm: 1 person needed

• 4pm - 5pm: 1 person needed

• 6pm - 8pm: Take down (if you feel more comfortable with manual labor!)

🎨 Help with Crafts Join us this Sunday June 15th during fellowship to help make ribbon twirlers—easy, fun, and meaningful!

💧 Donate Supplies

• A case of bottled water – to give out at the festival and keep our volunteers hydrated

• Snacks – to support the volunteers during the long day
