Of course, it is Easter and we give thanks for the victory over sin and death by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, we have more to rejoice about and celebrate.
Let us welcome two new staff to CtK!
Our first new hire is Richard Tucker who will be our Custodian. Richard worked in the paper industry for National Envelope for 30 years. He has served as a custodian at St Paul Lutheran Church for many years and comes with great experience. He is also part time at Peace United Methodist. Richard enjoys meeting people and sharing the work of ministry throughout the building. Richard was excited to begin on Tuesday 4.19 and looks forward to meeting more people at CtK!
Our second person is no stranger to CtK, Alex Selle. He has been contracted to work as the Confirmation & High School Youth Assistant to help with many of the clerical duties for this position. He is contracted until he finds a more lucrative position or we find someone for this part-time position. Some of you may already know Alex. He has been active in helping her in children's ministry for the last 5 years. On top of helping out with behind the scenes stuff for Sunday school, he teaches 6th grade Christian Ed, is a trusted adult in BYG, and has been a chaperone on the two most recent mission trips. Alex has a heart for serving youth and walking with them as they take ownership of their own faith.
Alex describes himself as a lover Jesus, ice cream, cheese, bratwurst, and his family and friends. Alex loves a good joke and a chance to be silly. He is very excited to be an official part of the CtK ministry team!
