Prayer Partners is a small group ministry led by Deanna Gjerald. Every year, the group is

offered to all those who attend CtK. When joining the group, you are asked to complete a

small questionnaire. The questions include your name, address, prayer concerns, hobbies,

etc. We then return the completed form(s) to Deana. She then randomly picks names for each person and delivers our name to each of us. Throughout the year (January-December) we either mail or leave at church: cards, small gifts or both. We pray for our partner throughout the entire year and then the following January we find out who has been praying for us during the year.

Here are some reasons why some of us have joined Prayer Partners:

“Prayer Partners allows me to feel a closer connection to my fellow CtK members. It helps me focus on another person's needs rather than my own. I get great satisfaction by sending a card, knowing it will brighten my Prayer Partner's Day. It's an incredibly positive experience in my life.” “Prayer Partners has been a real asset in my life. I have gotten to know people from CtK that I would not have known otherwise, and it is comforting to know that someone is praying for me and my concerns.” “Last year was an exceedingly challenging time for me and I was really feeling lost. The cards and prayers I received

throughout the year really lifted me up and gave me strength. I knew that God was there for me, but it was an extra bonus to receive the uplifting notes of caring at just the right moment. I believe in the strength and power behind the Prayer Partner Ministry. I recommend it to everyone!” “Another way to pray for someone and to receive random cards and sometimes gifts, reminding me of God’s love for me and answered prayers.”

If you would like to learn more or are interested in joining the ministry. Please see Deanna or any of the partners in the picture. We would love to have you as part of our group. You can also pick up a form at the Welcome Desk or Prayer Partners Table located in the Fellowship Hall. The completed form can be given to the church office or directly to Deanna.

Thank you!

We hope you consider joining our group!
