While in New Orleans, the youth got to experience a new type of culture. We tried new foods including oysters (which some loved and some hated), alligator, and beignets!
While there we got to participate in a service project. We were assigned to clean up storm
drains in a near by community. Cleaning the drains were in preperation for the upcoming
storm season. We saw God in many ways through this including the thankfulness from those who live in this community, and a complete feeling they unlocked afterwards.
The interactive learning was a favorite part for many, as we got to participate in many activities centered around faith, meet different colleges, camps, and new people. Finally we got to do some sight seeing around the areas of New Orleans. Over all the journey we went on was eye opening, long, and fun; here are some photos from along the way!!!
